100 years of history make Carcano one of the most established companies in the field of thin aluminum foil. During this century the foil production has changed from "manual handling" of tin to the latest very fast and highly computerized rolling mills for aluminum. Today Carcano represents a unique example within Europe of independent medium-sized company producing from the ingots casting to thinnest aluminum foil, down to 5 microns. Carcano also has a converting plant producing materials for very different fields. Technology and vertical integration are the main characteristics. The rolling and converting plants are parts of the same company and are few Kilometers far one from the other.
Carcano produces flexible packaging that can be used for sweets, the food industry, pharmaceuticals, and in the wine industry. As well as producing boxes, cable wrapping, insulation and profiles.
