Reedy International Corp has completed development of an advanced foam production process that meets current and future global emission requirements without major equipment changes or compromises in product quality, density or production rates. SAFOAM is an endothermic
chemical foaming agent (CFA) used in thermoplastics with a wide variety of
applications. Processors use it to produce foamed moldings or extrusions or
to eliminate other processing problems, such as sink marks, warpage or molded
in stresses. Its use in structural plastics provides several advantages,
including: weight reduction, cost savings, increased part rigidity, enhanced
acoustical and insulation properties, stress and sink mark elimination, and
warpage elimination.
